Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status and potential delays
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1-year driving experience (non-commercial accepted)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Basic math and navigation skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overnight stays
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Willingness to relocate for regional routes (Ohio/Virginia)
