Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles across designated routes in New York and surrounding areas
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (minimum 2 years clean driving record)
- Ability to obtain CDL Class A or B license (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for load documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to handle cargo and climb vehicle steps
- No prior CDL experience required - we train!
