Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations in Illinois and Ohio.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Uphold company policies regarding traffic laws, safety regulations, and driving standards.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (or ability to obtain one via our training program).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Automotive Class A or B CDL with Tanker or Hazmat endorsements preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Basic math skills for weight and balance calculations.
