Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer units in Miami metro area and throughout Florida/Texas routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams
- Operate in various weather conditions and traffic environments
- Support team safety initiatives and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Basic math skills for weight distribution calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
