Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records including electronic logs, delivery receipts, and mileage reports.
- Adhere to strict safety standards set by the company and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A License (or be willing to enroll in our paid training program).
- Must pass a DOT physical examination to meet medical standards.
- Clean driving record required (no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
