Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) on dedicated night shift routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and all safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Support cross-functional operations in Louisville and Florida corridors
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Night shift availability and comfort with 10+ hour shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Flexibility for regional routes including Florida travel
