Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) on long-haul routes across the Midwest
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch team via remote systems
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with precision
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of interstate highway systems
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10-12 hour shifts)
- Remote communication proficiency (e-fleet systems)
