Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on overnight routes
- Adhere to HOS regulations and maintain electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient load management
- Deliver freight to distribution centers across Texas and California
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate records
- Participate in quarterly safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR or regional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations
- Strong navigation skills (GPS/Atlas)
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts
- Drug-free workplace compliance required
