Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and legally in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs (DVIR).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B (CDL required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
