Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely transport cargo to designated delivery points while adhering to strict time schedules.
- Manage load securement to prevent damage to freight and ensure safe transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and safety protocols.
