Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated overnight routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage electronic logging systems (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Load/unload freight with proper securement techniques
- Respond proactively to weather and traffic conditions during night operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer ladders
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and mountain corridors
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility night conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts during peak seasons
