Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently during night shift hours.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand jacks, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws to minimize risk and accidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of Seattle area routes and geography.
