Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) during assigned night shifts.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Verify cargo contents against delivery receipts and obtain necessary signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cab and cargo area.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years.
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Basic computer skills for logging hours and navigating routes.
- Must pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening.
