Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on designated routes and highways.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and vehicle safety.
- Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring cargo integrity and minimizing damage.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and electronic logging devices (ELD) records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding route changes and delivery updates.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Previous experience in regional or long-haul truck driving is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating night shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull cargo weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Current DOT medical card and willingness to pass a drug screen.
