Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on highways and local roads.
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Must be available to work rotating Night Shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a professional attitude.
