Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours
- Execute efficient delivery routes across Northern California
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments
- Handle specialized freight with temperature control requirements
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal navigation and ET compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of California highway systems and regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
