Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and delivery vehicles in a professional manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo safely, adhering to weight distribution and securing protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Uphold a clean driving record and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Basic math skills for cargo weight and balance calculations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
