Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated night routes and highways.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Uphold a professional image and safety-first mindset at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report vehicle issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) for physical fitness.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a regular basis.
