Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans safely and efficiently on designated routes throughout the Omaha area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
