Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on a night route.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation (EOBR compliance).
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (clean driving record required).
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferred for night shift).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced night environment.
