Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe, professional, and timely manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety guidelines.
- Complete daily electronic logs (ELD) and maintain accurate records of duty status.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with required endorsements (Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
