Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on night routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Ensure the security and integrity of cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR compliant) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Availability for night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) required.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and cash handling.
- Willingness to travel regionally to Florida and beyond.
