Responsibilities
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) to maintain accurate driving logs.
- Deliver freight to designated customers in the Miami metropolitan area on time.
- Maintain a clean professional appearance and a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) valid for at least 6 months.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or DUIs in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
