Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on interstate and local routes during night hours.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using electronic logging devices (ELD) and logbooks.
- Ensure the security of cargo and vehicle security throughout the shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Must have a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety, time management, and customer service.
- Willingness to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
