Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on designated routes in and around the Fort Worth area.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs using ELDs and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Secure cargo during transit to prevent damage or loss.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and route changes.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state of Texas.
- Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol screening.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Strong understanding of road maps and GPS navigation.
