Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or refrigerated) in all weather conditions
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and secure cargo using proper techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch in real-time
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas highway systems and border crossing procedures
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and equipment familiarity
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
