Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on designated night routes throughout the Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring all freight is properly secured and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/HOS) and ensure all DOT compliance requirements are met at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and ensure the safety of the public and crew.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferably with tanker or hazmat endorsements).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and flexible schedules as required.
- Must pass a DOT physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
