Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans during night shift hours.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Clean driving record required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid Medical Card (if required for specific cargo).
