Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated Class A and Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) drivers to operate our regional and local delivery fleet during the night shift. As a vital part of our logistics network, you will ensure timely and safe delivery of goods across the El Paso area.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or Class B) safely and legally on designated routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand tools, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Previous experience in truck driving is preferred but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
