Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently during night shift hours.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo is protected from damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery times.
- Manage time management to meet tight delivery schedules without compromising safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
