Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for nighttime freight transportation across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging compliance (ELD)
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations during all operations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Secure cargo properly and verify documentation for all shipments
- Represent the company professionally with clients and at delivery locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience in overnight or shift-based driving
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City metro area and regional highway systems
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Excellent time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
