Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-state night deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage precise delivery schedules with real-time GPS tracking
- Load/unload freight using advanced equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work independently in overnight conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area preferred
