Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Inspect, maintain, and report vehicle conditions before/after shifts
- Handle documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Communicate with dispatch teams using telematics systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and safety compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Baltimore metro area geography
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
