Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-drop routes across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling of specialized freight
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Excellent knowledge of New Orleans metro roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts and weekend coverage
- DOT medical certification current and valid
