Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (53' dry van/reefer) during overnight hours (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute efficient loading/unloading with electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine preventative maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Represent the company professionally with all clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Overnight shift availability (8 PM - 6 AM)
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area and surrounding routes
- Basic understanding of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service excellence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
