Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for nighttime freight transport
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and optimize routes for efficient Austin-area deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Support loading/unloading operations at various facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area geography
- Exceptional safety record and defensive driving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable weather conditions
