Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional overnight routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight across the Midwest corridor
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Maintain accurate logs and electronic logging device compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to work independently overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in electronic logging systems and route navigation
- Physical ability to load/unsecure freight up to 50 lbs
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
