Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods across regional routes
- Strictly adhere to FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route planning
- Secure and verify cargo loads before departure
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records
- Respond professionally to delivery exceptions and client inquiries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (7 PM - 5 AM)
- Basic familiarity with GPS navigation systems
