Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van) within designated Texas and California routes
- Adhere to strict FMCSA regulations and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations
- Basic navigation skills and smartphone proficiency
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- TWIC card preferred for California routes
