Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely delivery of packages and food orders during evening hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure maximum efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory management for all packages
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve complaints professionally
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team during high-volume periods to maintain service standards
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs in multi-unit buildings
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Reliable transportation to/from shift start location
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Food handler's certification preferred
