Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight accurately, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all trips and driving hours.
- Deliver freight on time to customers in the Sacramento area and surrounding regions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
