Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for nighttime deliveries across Jacksonville metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and inventory documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Jacksonville streets and surrounding areas
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening per DOT requirements
- Basic proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
