Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, or flatbed) during night shift hours
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Secure cargo and verify proper documentation for each shipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Night shift availability and preference
- Familiarity with Jacksonville metro area and Florida routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
