Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods overnight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging systems
- Load/unload freight with attention to detail and proper handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams for seamless operations
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Respond to route changes and delivery challenges with adaptability
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (evening to early morning)
