Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for overnight freight delivery
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries across Wisconsin and Illinois
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and warehouse staff
- Secure cargo and verify delivery completion with electronic signatures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
