Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on overnight routes across Texas and surrounding states
- Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and document all maintenance requirements
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Efficiently load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via Qualcomm systems
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Represent Premier Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Proficient with electronic logging devices and Qualcomm systems
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adjust routes as needed for operational efficiency
