Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight on schedule and within budget.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of all goods.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) for regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and cargo handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight shifts if required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid U.S. work authorization.
