Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans and reefers) on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Accurately document delivery logs and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with efficient route planning
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Louisiana/MS/AL regional highways
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
