Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and legal manner at all times.
- Transport freight efficiently and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks.
- Unload cargo safely and efficiently at delivery locations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with the proper endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication purposes.
