Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) to transport freight across the Memphis area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, and delivery updates.
- Uphold the company's high standards for customer service and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) or eligibility to obtain one through our paid training program.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and criminal background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks during loading/unloading.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends.
